NPHIC is governed by a board, with representatives from all ten NPHIC regions as well as At-Large Members who serve on the board. Regional representative members of the board are elected by the members from their respective regions and territories. At-large members are elected by a vote of the general membership. Board members serve a three-year term that begins January 1 following their election.
