About CCPH Program

• CCPH offers peer recognition for professional communicators whose job is to develop, shape, spread and/or understand the impact of a public health message.
• A public health communicator in government, academia, industry or the not-for-profit sector who has a four year degree in any discipline and two years of practical experience, or who has had six years' experience as a public health communicator without a degree is eligible to apply for CCPH assessment.
• The assessment process comprises a rigorous portfolio review in which candidates describe and document how they have demonstrated core competencies and related skillsets necessary to be an effective public health communicator.
