Updated | What Works Fact Sheet for Tobacco Use

The Community Guide has updated and streamlined the What Works Fact Sheet for tobacco use. This two-page summary features an easy-to-read table that shows Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF) recommendations and findings for evaluated intervention approaches. CPSTF bases its findings and recommendations on systematic reviews of the scientific literature. With oversight from CPSTF, scientists and subject matter experts from the CDC conduct these reviews in collaboration with a wide range of government, academic, policy, and practice-based partners. The resource may be viewed online or printed as a handout, making it useful for communications with decision makers and partners.
