“We Were There” - Honoring Sherif Zaki – the Science and the Man

The CDC’s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases and the Office of Science invite you to a special presentation of “We Were There” in honor of the late Sherif R. Zaki, MD, PhD. Dr. Zaki was the founder and branch chief of CDC’s Infectious Disease Pathology Branch (IDPB). He joined CDC in 1988 and held several leadership positions in molecular and experimental pathology, lastly as IDPB chief. Dr. Zaki died unexpectedly in November 2021. The presentation will be streamed live here on Tuesday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
