Apply Now: Hispanic Leadership Development Fellowship for Public Health Careers

The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Hispanic Leadership Development Fellowship, a paid, 9-month program designed to prepare master’s students and recent graduates for public health careers.

Fellows will gain hands-on experience working with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies in Washington, D.C., and develop skills in health equity through professional development sessions, mentorship, and experiential learning excursions. With a $5,500 monthly stipend and health insurance, this in-person fellowship offers a unique pathway to leadership in public health. Applications close on March 10, 2025.
