Lead Found in Many Dark Chocolate Bars, Research Shows

Recent research published in Frontiers in Nutrition reveals concerning levels of heavy metals, including lead and cadmium, in many dark chocolate products. The findings highlight the risk of heavy metal exposure, especially from organic products, which had higher contamination levels. Despite the study's alarming results, experts suggest that moderation is key, particularly for vulnerable populations like children and pregnant women. Read more from NBC here.
