CDC / NPHIC Member Call Recap and Slides (July)

NPHIC government members are invited to meet virtually with CDC on every fourth Wednesday of the month from 4-5 p.m. EST to discuss situational updates with CDC’s Office of the Associate Director of Communication. Highlights included updates on the H5N1 outbreak and an upcoming vaccination campaign targeting COVID, flu, and RSV, particularly for older, vulnerable communities. There was discussion about enhancing media relations by focusing on regional contacts, and information about the Tribal Advisory Committee meeting in Oregon. NPHIC also announced the 2025 National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media.
