2024 NPHIC Board Member Announcement

We are pleased to announce the results of the 2024 NPHIC Board elections, marking the commencement of the new leadership within the NPHIC Executive Board as of February 1. We want to express our sincere thanks to our outgoing President, Cristi Moore, Chief Communications Officer at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control, for her outstanding leadership. A special thanks also goes to the 2023 NPHIC board for their commitment and service – we deeply appreciate your contributions.

Congratulations to the following 2024 Elected Officers: President: Ann Rowe manages the Public Health Preparedness Training and Exercise Program at the Florida Department of Health. Treasurer: Charla Haley serves as the Public Information Officer at the Utah Department of Health. Region 3 is represented by Barry Ciccocioppo, the Communications Director at the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Chris Van Deusen, the Director of Media Relations at the Texas Department of State Health Services, represents Region 6. Region 9 is represented by Nathan Orme, the Education and Information Officer at the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. Larry Hill, CCPH, serves as the At-Large Member and is the Eastern/Northern Regional Public Information Officer, Acting Risk Communication Manager at the Virginia Department of Health - Office of Communications.
