Webinar Recap: Online Trust and Public Health: Communicating in a Digital World

The Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC) recently held a webinar titled, “Online Trust and Public Health: Communicating in a Digital World” and now offers the recording to individuals who missed it. During the webinar, public health communicators heard from social media experts and trust researchers on ways to build and maintain trust online.

The webinar was moderated by Dr. Gillian SteelFisher and included three panelists, including NPHIC member, Adrienne Ammerman. Topics included an exploration of conditions that may lead to distrust, considerations for crafting a good response to misinformation online, and real-world examples of trust-building strategies within online communities.
