Five Things to Know About the Maternal Health Crisis

The Black maternal mortality crisis has gotten renewed attention in recent weeks amid growing concerns over the disparity in deaths between Black and white people. Black people are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than their white counterparts.
