STI Awareness Week is April 9-15

STI Awareness Week begins April 9 and is an important opportunity to promote STI prevention and improve sexual health. These infections remain a significant public health concern, but together, we can raise awareness about STIs; ensure people have the needed prevention, testing and treatment tools; and stand up to STI-related stigma, fear, and discrimination. Use CDC’s campaigns and toolkit to find ready-made social media and graphics for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram from the respective campaign landing pages "GYT: Get Yourself Tested," "Talk. Test. Treat." and, "Prepare Before You’re There." These campaigns are all available from the website and customizable to fit the needs of your community. Use #STIWeek to join the conversation on social media!
