Upcoming Training: Strategic Risk and Crisis Communications

Join The Communication Connection and speaker Kellee Waters, MPS on Tuesday, March 22 from 2-3:30 PM ET for a training session titled, Applied Principles of Strategic Risk and Crisis Communications. Participants will explore the way public health messages are socially and culturally produced; understand how the Six Emergency and Risk Communication Principles apply in a prolonged pandemic environment; and reimagine an Incident Command System (ICS) structure that works for long-term events and how the principles can be incorporated into ongoing communication and programmatic activities, including improving immunization program and public health agency activities.
