CDC’s Vital Signs Report Returns | HIV Inequities
CDC’s Vital Signs series has returned after a hiatus with a new report focusing on inequities in HIV diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and stigma by race/ethnicity. Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino gay and bisexual men are among the groups most affected by inequities in HIV diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Improving access to and use of HIV services for men who have sex with men (MSM), particularly Black MSM, Hispanic/Latino MSM, and younger MSM, is essential to ending the HIV epidemic in the United States. Watch for upcoming Vital Signs reports on important health topics through a health equity lens.
