October Issue of HCSD/Digest Now Available

The CDC’s October issue of Health Communication Science Digest (HCSD or Digest) is now available. In this month’s Digest, several articles address various aspects of social and digital media. Two articles focus on social networks, one a systematic review of literature examining online social networks’ linkage to individuals’ health. This month’s Digest also covers various risk communication topics. These include use of metaphorical language to discuss natural disasters and government practitioners’ sensemaking of the risks presented in public health emergencies. See the October HCSD here.
