CDC / NPHIC Member Call Recap and Slides – March 2025

The 2025 CDC/NPHIC Monthly Communications Calls offer valuable updates from CDC staff and a platform for sharing effective strategies. The March meeting highlighted key updates in public health communication. Kevin Griffis shared that the CDC's A(H5N1) Bird Flu response remains stable, with low risk to the general public. The CDC continues to focus on measles prevention, particularly for travelers, and emphasizes the availability of support for NPHIC members needing assistance. Ben Haynes introduced new regional press officers to enhance communication efforts. Additionally, the Public Health Infrastructure Center highlighted the upcoming EIS conference, while NPHIC announced the 2025 National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media.
