CDC / NPHIC Member Call Recap and Slides (March)

NPHIC government members are invited to meet virtually with CDC on every fourth Wednesday of the month from 4-5 p.m. EST to discuss situational updates with CDC’s Office of the Associate Director of Communication. The meeting focused on addressing current outbreaks, enhancing communication efforts, and adapting strategies to effectively educate and protect communities. Other updates included highlighting the director's recent trip to Africa for public health diplomacy work and the upcoming launch of the CDC website. The discussion then shifted to an update on the measles outbreak and an update on mpox, including efforts to reach at-risk populations and the importance of vaccine stockpiles.
