No Link Between COVID Vaccine, Cardiac Arrest in Young People, New CDC Study Finds

The CDC recently released data addressing the potential link between the COVID-19 vaccine and sudden cardiac death in young adults. The findings indicate no association between COVID-19 vaccination and sudden cardiac death in previously healthy young individuals. This investigation was prompted by reports and media coverage suggesting a connection between sudden deaths among young athletes and the vaccine.

Conducted between June 2021 and December 2022, the assessment examined the records of 1,292 Oregon decedents aged 16 to 30 who died of cardiac or undetermined causes.
