Novavax Messaging Available as Vaccine Pending FDA Approval

The Novavax vaccine is a two-dose, protein-based COVID-19 vaccine for adults age 18 and older. The Novavax vaccine is being used in over 40 countries; however, it is not currently available in the U.S. On June 7, the FDA advisory committee voted to recommend emergency use authorization, and the vaccine is currently under review by the FDA. Pending FDA and CDC recommendations, Novavax may soon become the fourth COVID-19 vaccine available in the U.S., in addition to Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
